ABOUT SUPPLYBASE
Supplybase VRS is the vendor registration system for the oil, gas and downstream processing industry.
Supplybase was developed by APPEA as a means of improving efficiency in the procurement process and to enhance opportunities for Australian suppliers in major projects.
The Supplybase VRS system is now in read-only mode. All new registrations are being taken on First Point Supplybase, the Achilles system for the oil and gas industry in Australia and New Zealand.

Mar 28: Financial Assistance to Western Australian suppliers
The WA Department of Commerce has confirmed that a 50% financial contribution to activities to pre-qualify for major resource projects can be obtained through the government's Industry Facilitation and Support Program. This includes registration on FPS and potentially external assistance in compiling the necessary documentation.

Oct 24: First Point Supplybase (FPS) Now Open for New Registrations
If you are not yet registered on Supplybase you can now Register for FPS.
All companies registered on Supplybase at the free 'Basic' level are also invited to join the new system but will need to re-register and re-enter their company profile information. Registration on FPS is free for companies with an annual turnover of less than $500,000.
If you are currently a Supplybase Gold or Platinum level subscribers you do not need to re-register. Your data is being migrated across to the new system and you will be advised of your new login details once this process is complete.

Oct 1: Supplybase now 'Read-Only'
To maintain data integrity while the information from Supplybase is migrated to the new FPS system we have implemented a System Freeze effective September 30.
This means that Supplybase is now 'read-only'. You can still see your company profile, but you can no longer make any changes to it.
Supplybase will remain visible to buyers until the system is retired in 2012.
